What we liked
- + Six inch deck plate with a removable red storage bag, which gives dry storage in a new hatch opening.
- + ABS construction is listed for long service life and the cover pulls out easily.
- + Described as easy to install, so it suits a first-time kayak outfitting job.
Trade-offs
- - The listing gives few specifics such as screws, gasket or cut-out size, so check the fit before cutting a deck.
- - A 6 inch opening only fits small items, not larger dry bags.
