What we liked
- + Listed as USCG approved Type V with Type III performance and 16.5 pounds of buoyancy once inflated.
- + Universal size fits 30 to 52 inch chests, and D-rings are provided for clipping on accessories.
- + Minimalist belt pack design is listed for kayakers, SUP paddlers and anglers who want less bulk.
Trade-offs
- - Manual inflation only: the wearer must pull the cord, so it offers no automatic inflation if unconscious.
- - Listing says it is approved for people aged 16 and over, and the buoyancy is not usable until inflated.
