What we liked
- + 60 in (152 cm) length sits at the short end of the youth range, a match for small kids in narrow kayaks
- + Lightweight anodized aluminum shaft with three locking positions for setting the blade angle
- + Breaks down into three pieces, so it packs into a car trunk or stows on board as a spare
Trade-offs
- - Fixed 60 in length has no adjustment, so a growing child will move on to a longer paddle
- - The listing is brief and gives no weight, blade material or blade size
