What we liked
- + Designed alongside Lifetime youth kayaks for a matched setup
- + 6 feet length fits kids who are ready for a slightly longer blade
- + Easy spare when a youth paddle gets lost or damaged
Trade-offs
- - Black finish is harder to spot if it drifts off in dark water
- - Basic construction is heavier than lighter composite paddles
