What we liked
- + Listed for paddlers under 155 cm tall, with a 169.5 cm overall length sized for kids rather than a shortened adult paddle.
- + Weighs only 550 g according to the listing, light enough for smaller arms to lift and swing.
- + Two-piece design with a spring lock catch breaks down for the car trunk and for storage.
Trade-offs
- - Aluminum shaft and PP blades are a basic build, fine for lessons but not a performance paddle for older kids.
- - Fixed 169.5 cm length, so a growing child will need a longer paddle within a few seasons.
