What we liked
- + 3-ply laminate PVC construction takes higher inflation pressure for added rigidity
- + Set includes two 86 inch paddles, a high-output pump, two rod holders, a phone mount and a carry bag
- + 12.7 foot hull with a 400 lb capacity can be paddled solo or tandem, with two removable skegs
Trade-offs
- - 400 lb capacity is the limit for two adults plus gear, so heavier pairs should look at bigger boats
- - Costs more than the Explorer K2 and Challenger sets from the same brand in this guide
