What we liked
- + Pealess design in high impact ABS plastic with no moving parts to jam, break or freeze
- + 90 decibel pitch is described as audible above ambient noise, engines, breaking waves and wind
- + Two whistles per pack: one for each life jacket in a tandem, or one plus a spare
Trade-offs
- - At 90 dB it is quieter than the Fox 40 Classic CMG (115 dB) and Sonik Blast (120+ dB) models
- - The listing does not mention a lanyard or clip, so plan your own way to attach it to a life jacket
