What we liked
- + Listing states an 11.6 ft by 2.6 ft inflated size, a streamlined shape for lakes and mild rivers
- + Removable skeg is listed for directional stability, which helps a tandem hold a straight line
- + Includes 86 inch paddles, a high-output pump and a carry bag, so nothing extra to buy to start
Trade-offs
- - 400 lb capacity leaves little margin for two heavier adults plus a cooler or dry bags
- - Narrow 2.6 ft beam suggests a tighter cockpit than the wider sets in this guide
